| 1. What is KSC Hotspot? |
| KSC Hotspot is an area where a computer or PDA equipped with a wireless module can connect to the broadband Internet through Wireless Access Points. You can reach from a distance of no more than 25 meters from the nearest access point. The most common IEEE 802.11b standard (also called 'Wi-Fi') which offers a connection speed of 54 Mbps is supported. Internet KSC is able to deliver the high-speed broadband Internet service combined with wireless technology. It can be set up so that any Laptop or PDA user with a compliant Wi-Fi card can access the Internet through the wireless access point. |
| 2. What do you need to have to access KSC Hotspot? |
| If you own a laptop computer or a PDA with a built-in wireless adapter or with a wireless PC-Card then, you are ready to connect to Hotspots. If you own a laptop without wireless card, then you will have to buy a wireless PC card at a cost of less than 2,500 Baht. |
| 3. What are the minimum system requirements? |
| Laptop : Windows 95,98,2000,ME or XP with PCMCIA slot and wireless card or build in wireless adapter (802.11b) PDA : Window CE , Palm OS 5.0 or above with expansion pack with PCMCIA slots and wireless card or build-in 802.11b capabilities |
| 4. What kind of wireless card can be used? |
| Any brand of wireless LAN card (802.11b) with Wi-Fi technology can be used. The preferred adapters are Cisco, Linksys, Orinoco (Lucent), Zyxel, SMC. |

You cannot change your username but you can change your password by

| 7. Can you use the same account at all KSC Hotspot service area? |
| Yes, you can but this username can be used only one concurrence. This means that you can use the same account at the different place (others KSC Hotspot area) but not the same time. |
| 8. Can you use the hotspot username and password to connect at home via the 56 Kbps modem / ISDN / DSL? |
| Yes, you can but your hotspot hour will be deducted. |
| 9. If you are Internet KSC 56 Kbps or ISDN subscribers, Can you connect to KSC Hotspot by your username and password? |
| No, you cannot use your username and password to connect. Except, if you are an KSC Max subscriber (DSL only) |
| 10. What can you do if your account has expired? |
