To comply with the Computer Crime Act which has come into force recently, the service providers along with corporate are required to store the computer traffic data or data related to computer system-based communications showing sources of origin, starting points, destinations, routes, time, dates, volumes, time periods, types of services or others related to that computer system’s communications.
These traffic data include internet network access data, e-mail server data, FTP server data, web log data, Usenet data and real-time communication messages via the internet, such as message log in instant messaging. The data shall be stored at least 90 days; the organizations must acquire hardware and human resources in support of this.
KSC has provided Log Management service for corporate customers to help them store the required data in the specified period of time, so that the customers do not need to invest in equipments and personnel.
