ADSL Auto Back Up is the provider's Internet back up link. In case the main link is down or incapable of serving, the system then switches to use the ADSL back up link to ensure that the users will be able to serve the smooth and uninterrupted Internet and keep the consistency of all business activities.

• When the main link is back to normal, the system automatically switches back to the main link.

• Serve corporate users both using KSC's IP or other IPs via KSC.
• Support all media from any media providers, depending on the user's coverage area.

Type of Service

1. MPLS VPN ADSL Back up : is an ADSL Back up which can be installed in the point-to-point format without the Account Authentication required.

1.1 External Modem Solution (Bridge Mode)

• KSC provides a router with at least 2 ports of Ethernet/FastEthernet.
• The media provider provides a modem.

1.2 Internal Modem Solution (WIC-1ADSL)

• KSC provides ADSL module (WIC-1ADSL) on router.
• The media provider provides a modem.

Remark: this type of service supports the Internet service provided via TRUE's media.

2. CNADSL Back up (Corporate Network ADSL back up): s an ADSL Back up that uses the Account Authentication from KSC's Corporate Network. The users can choose one of these solutions.

2.1 External Modem Solution (Route Mode)

• KSC provides a router with at least 2 ports of Ethernet/FastEthernet and a CNADSL account for the Fix Frame Route.
• The media provider provides a modem.

2.2 Internal Modem Solution (WIC-1ADSL)

• KSC provides an ADSL module (WIC-1ADSL) on the router and a CNADSL Account for the Fix Frame Route.
• The media provider provides an ADSL cable.
  

Remark: this type of service supports the Internet service provided via other medias.

Required Equipment

The user will need a router with at least 2 ports of Ethernet/FastEthernet or a WIC- 1ADSL .
